Before establishing SolAfro, Abid held senior leadership positions in Pakistan and Tanzania, including Head of HR & Community Outreach at Shifaa Pan African Hospitals (Dar es Salaam – Tanzania), Manager HR at the National University of Medical Sciences(Rawalpindi – Pakistan), and Head of HR & Operations at The Hospital (Islamabad – Pakistan).

His leadership has been marked by a consistent focus on people-centered strategy, system transformation, and quality-driven organizational culture.

A PhD scholar and MBA in Project Management, Abid brings academic rigor to his executive vision. He has authored multiple research publications and thought-leadership articles on organizational behavior, healthcare quality, and human resource strategy. His professional ethos blends academic insight with practical leadership, building bridges between people, ideas, and institutions across continents.
